The full range of BI services includes introduction of new capabilities, enhancements of current state and response to identified incidents. One of our primary goals is to provide high quality services and toolsets to our client base that support customer independence to meet local BI requirements.

We are currently undertaking a program to modernize our BI environment including development of new data stores (Operational Data Store and new Enterprise Data Warehouse) and the campus rollout of an enterprise level BI reporting tool suite – Cognos. We are currently engaging a significant number of cross-functional teams in our Cognos rollout with focus on a self-service model. To meet program demands, we are looking to augment our internal support staff by adding a BI Analyst.

The BI Analyst will focus on gathering and documenting BI requirements, identifying and defining data sources, coordinating customer activities including training and testing, coordinating developer activity including cross-functional collaboration and assistance in capturing metadata. The BI Analyst will be required to have demonstrated skills in customer interaction with emphasis on requirements gathering and documentation, data sourcing analysis (emphasis on mainframe sources), BI report development lifecycle, and an understanding of BI related concepts including dimensional modeling and database management system (DB2 in our case) capabilities.
