Would you like to get a start in Information Security? Notre Dame's Information Security team is hiring an eDiscovery Program Coordinator to perform the day-to-day eDiscovery information technology operations for the University.

The Program Coordinator collects and filters eDiscovery data for the Office of General Counsel. The Program Coordinator works with the Office of General Counsel and University outside counsel to provide them with the electronic data necessary to meet the litigation needs of the University.

The Program Coordinator's role is highly technical and a critical one for the University. Its main function is to ensure that all electronic litigation data is preserved per University requirements and is available to legal counsel when needed. The Program Coordinator is also responsible for the administration and technical operation of the eDiscovery service tools.

The eDiscovery Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Information Security in the Office of Information Technologies, and will work closely with the IT Compliance Program Manager to ensure that all data custodians are collected and data sets filtered per service level agreements. The Program Coordinator must be detail oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, and have a strong technical background.

In addition to eDiscovery operations, the Program Coordinator will support the Information Security team and provide technical support to the Office of General Counsel for other legal management systems.

  • Endpoint collections
  • Create filter criteria
  • Filter data collections
  • Format and package collections for counsel
  • eDiscovery tool administration
  • eDiscovery tool engineering
  • Legal management tool support
  • Information Security support
This is a two-year limited term position.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in management information systems or a related field
1-3 years experience in IT support
1-3 years experience customer support

Preferred Qualifications:
Regular expressions
Encase
Windows or Linux server administration
Network troubleshooting
Amazon Web Services
